Upland Contractors has completed one of the few build-to-suit construction projects in the Truckee Meadows, erecting a 7,020-square-foot building for a client who expanded existing operations in Spanish Springs.
The building in Spanish Springs Business Center is one of just five build-to-suit projects in the Reno-Sparks area in 2011, says Upland Contractors and Hawco Properties owner Jesse Haw.
"The owners looked at some existing buildings found that it was equally as expensive to build new," Haw says.
