DVD donations sought

Donations of children and family DVDs to be given to the pediatric department of Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center are being collected by Karissa Parra, a Carson High School student who is organizing donations for her senior project.

The need at the hospital caught her attention because of a recent theft of DVDs and the general need for more selections for hospitalized children. Donations of money to purchase movies and DVDs also are welcome.

Donations are being accepted through March 25 and can be dropped off at Just Brew It, 1210 N. Carson St., or contact Parra at 671-0151.
