(Nevada Appeal Staff Report) - Verizon Wireless customers lost cell service Wednesday morning after a piece of equipment for the network malfunctioned in Reno, according to a company statement.
The outage affected customers in Ely, Hawthorne and the Carson City region.
Phone and data service returned around 11 a.m. after technicians repaired the equipment.
