Try archery with Clear

Creek Bowmen

To anyone interested in archery: When my granddaughter said she wanted to try shooting a bow, I found the Clear Creek Bowmen. They invited her to come to the range they have on Highway 50 East.

We were amazed at the facility they have developed and the enthusiasm of every member we met.

Drive with caution

on dangerous highway

I am hoping that some read this and then drive with care. There have been several bad accidents on Highway 50 between Carson City and Silver Springs.

In the past few days, there have been more on the highway in Dayton and Stagecoach. I was in an accident in July here.

People, you really have to pay attention to the road at all times. Recently a little before 11 p.m. there was a bad accident in which four Careflights had to come in. They still were cleaning up the pieces of autos all over the highway the next day.

Has everyone forgotten it is a privilege to drive?
