For those who want to make a difference and become part of the solution to break the language barrier, a free tutor orientation and training workshop in English as a Second Language is being offered from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Douglas County Library, 1625 Library Lane in Minden.
Training and instructional material are provided at no charge. Light snacks will be served. Commitment to tutor is up to two hours a week at flexible days and times.
