Veteran lobbyists Peter Krueger and Marlene Lockard said last week they've merged their two companies into a new Reno-based entity, Capitol Partners, LLC.
Krueger, who has worked as a lobbyist for 22 years, previously operated i3Public Affairs in Reno. Lockard, who has worked in public policy fields for more than 30 years, previously operated Capital Strategies, a firm she launched in 2003.
Krueger and Lockard said they've worked together on projects since 2009.
Among clients of the firm are Nevada Women's Lobby, the Retired Public Employees of Nevada, the Nevada Energy Alliance and the Nevada Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Stores Association.
Timothy Hay, former Nevada Consumer Advocate, also has joined the firm. Shelly Capurro will be associated with the firm during the 2011 Legislative session.
