On the third Thursday of each month, St. Peter's Episcopal Church provides a free, warm and supportive place for the Caregivers Support Group to meet. The next meeting will be Feb. 17.

Dr. Deb Cash, educational psychologist, brings in monthly speakers and specialists to discuss new developments in dementia, care for Alzheimers patients along with new legal, medical and emotional strategies to caregiving and end of life issues. Meetings are 4 p.m. in the Rectory next to the 312 N. Division St. entrance of St. Peter's Episcopal Church of Carson City.

All are welcome to attend and discuss a new technique of using flash cards for communicating with older adults with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. So call 887-8846, if you would like to learn more about the group or if you just want a copy of the many resource articles collected on caregiving.
