Lorraine grew up in Alpine County, California, and attended Douglas High School. She lived in Carson City with her beloved husband Alexander.

Lorraine brought a smile to everyone's face. She was truly a free spirit who enjoyed Lake Tahoe, Alpine County, and all of the great outdoors. She truly enjoyed her life with her husband and their beautiful home, many friends and family. She loved her dog, Whitney and cat, Louie. She would give genuine compliments easily. Lorraine saw the good in everything and made anyone feel at ease around her.

Lorraine possessed a true creative talent as evidenced by her home and everything around her. She loved her garden and loved to be surrounded by flowers. She will truly be missed.

"Peace out and keep it shiny!" was her favorite saying.

A celebration of Lorraine's life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Saint Gall Catholic Church, 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is caring for arrangements.
