Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Sharon Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,399.

• A 44-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,000.

• Nathan Scott Chavez, 27, of Carson City, was arrested at 7:32 p.m. Wednesday in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor hit and run, driving without a valid license, speed too fast for conditions and obstructing. Bail was set at $1,348.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 2:15 a.m.

• Report of someone yelling for help in the 2700 block of South Carson Street at 4:51 a.m.

• A father reported at 8:44 a.m. that classmates were trying to pull his 7-year-old daughter's pants down.

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 7:21 a.m.

• Report of tools stolen from the 800 block of Armory Lane at 12:47 p.m.

• Report of a child sitting in the snow by himself in the 1300 block of East Fifth Street at 6:58 p.m.

• Report at 6:53 p.m. of two men involved in a physical dispute in the Carson Middle School gymnasium during an "aggressive" basketball game. One man claimed the other punched him in the face chipping his tooth. The other claimed the first man shoved his elbow in his face and he reacted. Neither cared to press charges. The puncher agreed to pay the first man's medical bills.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of a vehicle stolen from Talapaloosa Street at 6:27 a.m. in Silver Springs.

• Report of someone flattening four tires on a vehicle parked on Main Street in Fernley sometime before 1:17 p.m.

• Residential burglary report on Saroni Road at 2:08 p.m. in Smith Valley.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of a vehicle losing a wheel and blocked the path of a snow plow on State Route 341 at 8:41 a.m.

• Report of a 15-year-old boy injuring his right foot while sledding near E Street at 12:28 p.m.
