Vici Maddox, 82, of Carson City died Feb. 22, 2011. She was born Aug. 28, 1928, in Tacoma, Wash., to Joseph and Gaynell Zini. She is preceded in death by sister Sally Carleton. She is survived by her husband Jack Maddox; daughter Jean Victoria Adams (James); sister Rose Targoz (Ted); two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community in the small chapel, followed by interment at Lone Mountain Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
