Obituary: Helen L. Parashis

Helen Lorain Parashis, 84, long-time resident of Carson City, passed away Feb. 22, 2011 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho. Helen and her husband Bob Parashis managed the Silver Sage Mall when it was located in Carson City. Later she worked for Servo Gear company in Mound House.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Linda and three grandchildren, Adam, Miles, and Taylor. She is also survived by her sister Alta Steyrer of Preston; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Bob.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at Webb Funeral Home in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be 1-1:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
