Carson City road report for Feb. 28- March 6

The following information applies to the period of Feb. 28-March 6:

Clearview Drive is closed between Edmonds Drive and Line Drive for construction on the next phase of the Nevada Department of Transportation freeway project. Detours are marked. The road is expected to reopen by November.

Weather permitting, the following projects will be completed during this week:

• Traffic signal upgrades will be completed at five intersections: East College Parkway and North Lompa Lane; Airport Road and Highway 50 East; East William Street at the Gold Dust West; Saliman Road and East Fifth Street; and Roop Street and East Fifth Street. This work will be completed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. only, and streets will remain open to traffic.

• Utility work will occur on Russell Way between Northridge Drive and Long Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

• Shoulder work will occur at Stanton Drive and Monte Rosa Drive due to sidewalk improvements.
