Tim D. Smith, chief financial officer of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, resigned last week.
Smith joined the RSCVA in 1999 after working in financial management positions at Boomtown Hotel and Casino and several Hilton Hotels Corp. properties.
