Health Inspections for Jan. 12

The following health inspections are for the period of Dec. 21-30:

• Round Table Pizza Restaurant, 3325 Retail Dr. # 110-115, scored 95 points. Macaroni salad at the salad bar is holding an internal temperature of 48 F. Potato salad is holding at 45 F. These salads were put in the salad bar at around 2 p.m. after the lunch rush, according to staff. Meat pizza toppings at the makeup station have a surface temperature of 45 F. Found no paper towels in the dispenser at the front service counter hand sink.

• Panaderia Azteca Bakery, 3189 Highway 50 East, scored 99 points. There is dust accumulating on the ceiling light fixture over the prep table and inside the oven hood. There are open areas in the wall under the 3-C sink.

• Starbucks Coffee #13204 Restaurant, 1410 E. William St., scored 100 points.

• Glastine Pub Bar/Lounge, 1914 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Toads Bar/Lounge, 306 E. William St., scored 91 points. Per admission by staff, this establishment is conducting potluck meals for customers in opposition to its permit as a bar and to NRS 446.870. Leftover food such as ham and salad cooked outside this establishment was found in the reach-in. The hand sink/mop sink basin was blocked with a dirty food bowl. Staff was advised of this violation at the last inspection conducted on April 29. Empty beer kegs blocked access to the soap dispenser.

• Slotworld Restaurant Caravan Cafe, 3879 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Casino Fandango Meat Department Butcher Shop, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Casino Fandango Rum Jungle Buffet Restaurant, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Carson Lanes Bar/Lounge Service Bar, 4600 Snyder Ave., scored 98 points. The ice machine is dirty inside, the ice scoop container is not clean. There is stick residue under the bar mats holding clean glassware.

• Carson Lanes Restaurant Alley's Snack Bar, 4600 Snyder Ave., scored 100 points.

• Straw Hat Pizza Restaurant, 2010 Highway 50 East, scored 97 points. At least one employee present during food operations must be a certified food handler. There was no employee present at the time of inspection with a current food handler certification.
