Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 25-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 1:57 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of South Carson Meadows Drive on suspicion of probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.

• A 29-year-old home health care worker from Carson City was arrested at 7:47 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East Nye Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of two diapered toddlers unattended outside in grass off Allouette Way at 7:13 a.m. The mother was located at 7:26 a.m.

• A chain was cut on an Ash Canyon fence and it appeared someone tried to enter a shed at 8:55 a.m.

• A woman on College Parkway reported at 2:03 p.m. that someone was entering her residence without her permission, moving her stationery, burning the tips of her plants and taking her medications.

• A woman reported she drove past a vacant, condemned home on Tamarisk Street and someone was standing in the doorway reading a book at 5:11 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of a student drunk at Dayton High School at 8:05 a.m.

• Report of a student "under the influence" of unreported substance at 12:59 p.m. at Dayton High School.

• Misdemeanor arrest at Lake and Mono streets in Silver Springs at 9:13 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A motorist on Sam Clemens reported at 10:27 a.m. he hit a redtail hawk with his vehicle and the animal was dead in the road. The driver was unsure what to do.
