Mike Carrigan, Jerry Hawkins and Fred Findlen have been named to the board of directors of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority.
Carrigan, a member of the Sparks City Council, represents the city of Sparks on the board.
Hawkins, president of Winmer Properties, which operates Cheryl's Motel in downtown Reno, will represent the northern Nevada motel industry on the RSCVA board.
Findlen, general manager of the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Spa and Casino, will represent Incline Village.
