Troy Dillard, former administrator of the Department of Motor Vehicles' Compliance Enforcement Division, has been promoted to deputy director of the department.
Dillard has worked for DMV for six years after spending 15 years with the state Department of Parole and Probation.
He earned a bachelor's degree in criminal science from University of Nevada, Reno.
