Low-income housing units offered

Friends In Service Helping is accepting applications for three low-income housing units available for homeless families, said Reed Robbins, FISH's director of human services.

The qualifications are:

• Applicant families must be homeless or facing homelessness;

• There must be a child or children in the family;

• A family must have one parent who works a minimum of 40 hours a week and earns minimum wage or more per hour;

• An applicant needs to have a favorable credit report.

The housing units are on Stewart Indian School property and each is roomy with spacious backyards, Mr. Robbins said.
