Contractors disciplined

Five contractors in northern Nevada have been disciplined by the Nevada State Contractors Board.

Stone Center of Nevada, headquartered in Reno, was fined $9,200 after it failed to establish financial responsibility and failed to pay for materials or services. The company's license is currently suspended because the company has no bond, the contractors board said.

Turf Pro LLC of Reno was fined $4,700 for substandard workmanship and working outside the scope of its license.

Lincoln Heating & Air Conditioning of Sparks paid an administrative citation after the board found it disregarded building laws.

Aztecs Concrete LLC of Reno was fined $100 for aiding an unlicensed person and failing to establish financial responsibility.

The license of White Pine Fence Co. of McGill was revoked after the board found the company failed to pay bills, diverted funds and failed to establish financial responsibility.
