Kate Thomas, a deputy secretary of state in Nevada, has been elected president of the Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful board of trustees.
Other newly elected officers include Daniel Inouye, senior air quality specialist for Washoe County, vice president; Jeff Brigger, NV Energy economic development executive, secretary; and Chuck Sweeney, president of Chuck Sweeney Associates,treasurer.
Moira Shea, a Realtor for Keller Williams Realty was elected to the board.
Other board members include Sean French, president of community banking for Wells Fargo; Steve Fine, advertising executive for Reno Lawn and Landscapes; Beth Fink, accounting assistant for TriNet; Debra Rutledge, account manager for UPS; Dave Bianchi, financial representative for Northwestern Mutual and Dan Buhrmann, industrial vice president for CB Richard Ellis and KTMB's immediate past president.
