Brenda Lynn (Clampitt) Stretch passed away at home on June 7, 2011. She was born Nov. 24, 1970, in Carson City to Roger and Cynthia Clampitt. Her father preceded her in death in January 2004.
Brenda and Lance Stretch were married on March 28, 1978, and made their home in Edgewood, Wash., before moving to Midway, Utah. She is survived by her husband and their son, Michael Andrew Stretch; her mother, Cynthia Clampitt; her brother, Brett Clampitt (Tonya); two nephews, one niece, and a great nephew, all of Carson City; and her maternal grandmother, Bonnie Clampitt (Chuck) of Neb.
Brenda will always be loved and missed by so many. There will be a memorial at Ross Gold Park in Carson City on July 11, 2011, at 6 p.m. A gathering will also be in Washington state where she is missed by her mother and father-in-law, sister-in-law and family.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to either Friends of Animals Utah, P.O. Box 682155, Park City, UT 84068 or the Blind Dog Rescue Alliance, P.O. Box 63401, Philadelphia, PA 19114 as Brenda was involved with both organizations.
