June 15, 1941, Tony and Clara Dias exchanged wedding vows at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
The couple, who now live in Modesto, Calif., celebrated their 70th anniversary July 2 with a dinner at the Modesto Elks Club.
More than 90 friends and family members attended the gathering.
Tony Dias Sr. is a retired salesman and Clara Dias is a retired secretary.
Their daughter Antoinette "Toni" Stalker lives in Carson City and son Tony Dias Jr. lives in Bullhead City, Ariz. The Diases have four grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
