Robert Charles Amundson, 73, of Carson City died July 13, 2011, in Reno. He was born April 25, 1938, in Glenbrook. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Amundson of Carson City; children Lisa Long (Frank), Melanie Petrelli, Robert Charles Amundson, II (Terry), and Nicole Zaza (Mike); sister Suzanne Werner; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
