Kim R. Johnson

May 12, 1959 - July 12, 2011

Kim was born in Lovelock, Nevada and spent most of her life in Carson City. Kim lost her battle with cancer on July 12, 2011. She is survived by her son Shawn W. Taber, daughter Nicole R. Blair (Scott), her father Edward Masterson (Carol), mother Karen Williford, sisters Debbie Masterson (Bill Shirley) and Deanne Wass (Donald), four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Kim was a very strong woman and well-loved by her family and friends. She was a legal secretary for the State of Nevada and other legal firms in the Carson City area. She was an avid bowler, loved sewing, quilting, and reading, and especially loved her animals.

A remembrance of Kim's life will be held on July 28, 2011, 1:00 pm at 3010 Debbie Way, Carson City, NV 89706. The family suggests contributions be made to the Humane Society or the George Plunkett Memorial Scholarship for Carson City's Youth Bowlers at 3080 Melanie Ct., Carson City, NV 89706.
