Coming Saturday, taste the best of downtown

TASTE OF DOWNTOWN

This weekend is supposed to be beautiful, so come out and enjoy downtown Carson City.

Sometimes it's hard to believe we are helping our community unless we break a sweat, paint a building, or organize a huge fundraiser but, thanks to The Advocates to End Domestic Violence, all the wonderful restaurant owners, and the volunteers of the Taste of Downtown event, the hard work is already done. The only thing you need to do is grab a ticket and enjoy.

The best part is you are making a difference by helping an abused woman find safety and freedom. The purchase of a ticket helps provide a safe environment for her and her children.

Stop in and say hello to one of my favorite bartenders, Michael at Mo & Sluggo's, who will be serving up drinks for the cause. Welcome home Michael, I missed you.
