Arthur Leger of Reno has been named director of exploration and field operations for Sagebrush Gold Ltd., a Walnut Creek, Calif., company exploring prospects in Nevada.
Leger has held senior exploration and management positions with Cameco Gold Corp., Cyprus Metals Exploration, Gold Fields Mining Corp. and Hecla Mining. He also worked five years as a staff engineer with the Bureau of Water Pollution Control in Nevada.
