Cruise contest for caregivers

Home Instead Senior Care network is sponsoring a sweepstakes for a free, five-day cruise for a caregiver a and guest.

Those nominating friends or family members also could be eligible to win a prize. There is a separate prize for the nominated individual with the most totaled votes on their caregiver story.

Nominations may be made at http://cruise.caregiverstress.com/ before July 14 deadline. The drawing will be conducted July 22. One nominator will be entered into a secondary drawing to receive a laptop computer and camcorder, worth up to $600.

The public, entrants and nominees will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite caregiver story. The nominee with the most votes will receive an Apple iPad, worth up to $400.

The five-night, six-day Caregiver Stress Management Cruise is scheduled for Jan. 21-26, 2012, on the Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas. The cruise will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with stops in Belize City and Cozumel. In addition to the cruise, valued at up to $4,000, the winning recipient and guest will receive 40 hours of free care from a Home Instead Senior Care professional while they are away.
