Obituary: Sally Ione Voorhees

Sally Ione Voorhees, 81, of Carson City died June 21, 2011. She was born July 3, 1929, in Kenosha, Wis. She is survived by her husband, Henry Voorhees of Carson City; children Sally Kelly of Carson City, Frank Voorhees of Carlton, Ore., Valerie Nugent of Penfield, N.Y., Henry Voorhees II of Amity, Ore., Melanie Voorhees of Carson City, and Suzanne Voorhees of Carson City; sister Joyce Krecker of Kenosha, Wis.; and seven grandchildren. A private family service will be held. Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
