Sam Kallas, 88, of Carson City died June 10, 2011. He was born June 18, 1922, in San Francisco to Nicolas Sam and Clara (Christea) Kallas. He is survived by his son Richard Kallas of Reno; sister Virginia Costanzo of Sunnyvale, Calif.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Kallas, son Nick Kallas, and siblings Sophie, Delores, Gus and Serando. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
