Spanish Springs Construction Inc. of Sparks last week won a $564,888 contract for landscape improvements at the intersection of Pyramid Way and Interstate 80. The work is a joint project of the City of Sparks and the Nevada Department of Transportation.
The company also won a contract through the Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration worth $3 million to install 2,500 crypts at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Kentucky.
