Burglary ring suspect pleads

One of the suspects in a burglary ring that reached from Douglas County to Verdi pleaded guilty Tuesday in Carson City.

Bryan Allen Gaudette, 24, pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of stolen property. He will be sentenced April 19.

The ring came to light on July 8 when Christopher Allan Buttz, 18, of Carson City, was arrested in Washoe County in possession of items stolen from Carson City, said Washoe County Deputy Armando Avina.

Two searches of a Carson City home following the traffic stop resulted in the recovery of hundreds of stolen items believed to be the bounty of a prolific gang of burglars believed responsible for more than 200 auto and home burglaries during the past year.

Gaudette was arrested at his Dori Way home July 14 on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property and misdemeanor obstructing.

He also faced charges in Douglas County in the crime spree.

The following people also appeared before Carson City District Judge Jim Wilson on Tuesday:

• Sean Cameron Crawford, 43, pleaded guilty to a charge of tampering with a motor vehicle. He will be sentenced in May.

• Robby Hernandez, 30, pleaded guilty to obtaining or possessing a credit card without card holder's consent. He will be sentenced April 19.

• Tami Rae White, 29, pleaded guilty to attempted theft. She must also attend drug court. Sentencing is set for
