Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Lubin F. Garcia, 46, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 9:39 p.m. in the 8500 block of Highway 50 East on a felony warrant for two counts of theft. Bail was set at $10,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A woman reported at 5:02 p.m. cashing a check which she later discovered came from a fraudulent business.

• Controlled substance report with a misdemeanor arrest at Carson High at 1:49 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Richmond Avenue at 3:54 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Arrest on Pueblo Street in Silver Springs at 12:18 a.m.

• A man at the Fernley Scolari's reported two men jumped him and took his keys and cell phone at 12:45 a.m.

• Coroner call on Calcite Drive in Mound House at 9:21 a.m.

• Coroner call on Ramsey Street in Silver Springs at 12:30 p.m.

• Felony arrest on Sutro Springs Road in Mark Twain at 8:55 a.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of large rocks in the road on State Route 341 at Seven Mile Road at 3:46 p.m.

• Report of six wild horses in the road on USA Parkway at 8:54 p.m.
