Underground Energy Inc. of Arroyo Grande, Calif., bid $95,980 for an oil and gas lease on 2,391 acres of federal land in Eureka County.
The parcel in the Bruffey Ranch area leased to Underground Energy Inc. was the only one auctioned by the Bureau of Land management office in Reno last week.
At its previous auction in September, the BLM had sold leases on 21 parcels.
