The Spring 2011 open burn period for Carson City runs from March 26 through April 24. The purpose of the open burn period is to provide residents an opportunity to dispose of accumulations of weeds and yard debris.
Residents may apply for a burn permit by any of the following means:
• Using the online permit application form found under City News at
www.carson.org
• Calling 775-887-2210 ext. 2 or
• In person by dropping by any of the city's fire stations.
Those who apply online or over the telephone also will need to download or print a copy of the blank permit application form to complete the information, which will be provided to you by the Carson City Fire Department.
