Business-valuation group

Nine accountants in northern Nevada have created a business-valuation committee of the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants.

The group seeks to provide education and professional support among valuation professionals and looks to work with other professions such as lawyers and judges.

Founders include Richard Wait, Scott Wait, Susan Brackney, Michelle Salazar, Jim Proctor, John DiPietro, Lisa Bagley, Darrin Maddox and Richard Teichner.
