Chris Johnson, Alsy Brinkmeyer

Chris Johnson and Alsy Brinkmeyer have been named to management positions in Carson City-based Sierra Nevada Media Group.

Johnson was named production director. He previously worked as manager of the distribution department of The News-Review Publishing Co. in Roseburg, Ore. (The Oregon paper, like Sierra Nevada Media Group, is owned by Swift Communications.)

Brinkmeyer will oversee a centralized sales team for classified advertising that supports The Nevada Appeal, The Tahoe Daily Tribune, The North Lake Tahoe Bonanza, The Record-Courier, The Lahontan Valley News, The Sierra Sun and related publications. She previously worked as classified ad manager of The News-Review in Roseburg, Ore.
