Raymond Cambra, 86, died March 22, 2011, in Carson City. He was born April 24, 1924, in Oakland, Calif., to Joseph and Julia Cambra. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by daughters Marlene Shinn (Hal), Debi Destowet and Valery Brioso (Tony); sister Mary Whitney; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Carson Gardens cemetery in Carson City.
