Entries for theme to be expressed for the 2011 Trails and Vistas art hike at Spooner Lake are being sought. The deadline for theme submissions is midnight April 15.
Previous themes have included "If Dreams were Clouds," "Songs of the Earth," and "Wind over Stone."
Submit a theme to info@trailsandvistas.org. Include full name, age, phone number, theme tagline in four words or less, and a short description that is no more than 150 words. The winner will receive two complimentary tickets to Trails and Vistas 2011, a $60 value. The winner will be announced April 20.
"I invite all ages to embrace their individual creativity and connection to the natural world and submit a theme for this year's art hike," said Nancy Tieken Lopez, Trails and Vistas artistic director.
The Trails and Vistas experience includes small group hikes that pause at performances and other artistic creations along a hike at Spooner Lake. The 2011 art hike will be Sept. 17, 18. For details, go to www.trailandvistas.org.
