Carl O. Bostrom, 91, of Carson City, died May 8, 2011. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on March 2, 1920. He is preceded in death by his first wife June Bostrom; his second wife Rosemary Bostrom; brother Thorsten Bostrom; and sister Joanne Bostrom. His is survived by his sons Carl and Mitchell Bostrom (Sandra); daughter Kari Lyn; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be noon-5 p.m. Friday at the Plaza Hotel and Convention Center, 801 S. Carson St., Carson City. Inurnment with military honors will be 11:30 am. June 17 at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
