Joseph M. (Joe) Driscoll has been named vice president for Nevada operations by Great Basin Gold Ltd.
Driscoll most recently worked as manager of Newmont Mining's Leeville Mine. He also has worked for Western Energy Co., Pegasus Gold, New Butte Mining Co., Independence Mining Co., Stillwater Mining Co., Queenstake Resources and Barrick Gold Corp.
He is a 1987 graduate of College of Mineral Science and Technology.
