Thoran Towler has been named Nevada Labor Commissioner.
Towler, who will be based in Carson City, was most recently a deputy attorney general for the Nevada Attorney General's Office. He also has worked as a deputy district attorney in Carson City, as a litigation associate in the employment law group for Jones Vargas and as a law clerk for the Fourth Judicial District Court in Elko.
He earned a bachelor's degree in technology from Walla Walla College and earned his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law.
