All active-duty Marines, as well as those who served, and their families, loved ones and friends, are invited to a celebration of the U.S. Marine Corps' 276th birthday.
Mo & Sluggo's Bar and Grill is the site for the gathering, which is to thank those who've served in the Marines. It runs from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mo and Sluggo's, 110 W. Telegraph St. During the party, appetizers and drinks will be available for happy-hour prices.
A cake-cutting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., and organizers say the event will be family-friendly, and they invite people to bring children to participate in this tribute to the Marines.
