Ken passed away on November 8, 2011 at Carson Tahoe Hospital in Carson City, Nev. Ken was born in West Virginia, living there and marrying his wife, Nancy Mitchell in 1952. Ken and his wife, Nancy, have been residents of Carson City since 1990, after he retired as an engineer from Pacific Bell in southern California.
Ken is preceded in death by his son, Rick, in 2006. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; brothers-in-law, Roger and Gary Mitchell; his nephew/son, Gary L. Mitchell; and his daughter-in-law, Jo Hensley of Carson City. Also, dear to his heart were his grandchildren, Jenifer and Ricky and his three great-grandchildren, Danielle, Ryan and Derick; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 1:00pm at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery with viewing taking place from 11:00am-1:00pm. 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City.
