Savory Investments LLC of Reno has acquired area-development rights for five additional Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que franchise restaurants in California.
The company this year opened its first Famous Dave's location in Reno, part of a four-restaurant deal that Savory Investments LLC reached with Minneapolis-based Famous Dave's of America Inc. in late 2009.
California markets covered by the new agreement include Solano, Marin, Sonoma, Monterey and Santa Cruz counties.
Savory Investments, LLC was founded by brothers Rory and Sean O'Neal, whose experience in the food and hospitality industries include stints with Sysco Foodservice, California Cafe, Crocodile Cafe and Paragon Steakhouse. NNBW staff
