Obituary: Lucille L. Slattery

"Gone from our sight - forever in our hearts."

In loving memory of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, age 95, passed away at Mountain Springs Assisted Community on September 29, 2011.

Lucille was born to Edgar and Laura Kennedy in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, on October 16, 1915.

Lucille lived in many towns, which included 3 states, as she and husband Everett pursued his career as a music teacher. The last 16 years she has resided with her daughter Nancy in Gardnerville, and the last two years of that time in Carson City.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Everett Slattery, sisters Francis Newton and Dorothy Kotnik, and brother Robert Kennedy.

Surviving are daughter Nancy Stahl, grandsons Chris and Scott Stahl, great-granddaughter Brittany Stahl, and step-great grandchildren Jimmy and Scotty Taylor, and Michelle Shepherd, and two step-great great grandchildren Madison & Jayden. Also surviving are nephews Tom and James Newton, niece Barbara Kotnik, and sister-in-law Patricia Knack.

The family expresses special thanks to Mountain Springs Assisted Community who provided love, comfort and support.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Gall Catholic Church, 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville, NV. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
