Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Jason Michael Dobbs, 30, a machinist from Carson City, was arrested at 4:16 a.m. Tuesday in the 3300 block of Champion Drive on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor possession of a firearm while intoxicated and domestic battery. Police said Dobbs was drunk when he held a gun to his roommate's head and scolded the roommate for mistreating his wife. The roommate managed to take the gun from Dobbs, the report states.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• 2:24 a.m. - Misdemeanor arrest at Adams and Fall streets.

• 10:37 a.m. - Report of a state employee receiving threatening emails.

• 9:21 a.m. - A man reported he was threatened by his boss with a vacuum hose East Telegraph Street.

• 9:40 p.m. - Residential burglary report in the 2600 block of Fieldcrest Drive. Caller said the home was "rummaged through," with a mirror broken and money missing.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• 11:17 a.m. - Arrest of shoplifter on East Newlands Drive in Fernley.

• 9:12 p.m. - Woman reported her ex-boyfriend, who was recently released from jail, arrived at her Mason Valley home and took all her money.
