The Builders Association of Northern Nevada and its training partner, CleanEdison, Inc., received a grant through Nevadaworks to provide free training courses for workers in green-energy programs.
The first course begins Nov. 1 and is designed to prepare students to obtain Building Performance Institute Inc. certification in insulation and air sealing.
The value of the BANN training classes exceeds $285,000 and will be offered at no cost to currently employed workers in northern Nevada. Class sizes are limited. For additional information contact BANN at 329-4611 or visit www.thebuilders.com.
