Q: What are your favorite sports and why?
A: Football and Tennis. Football because I always played it with my family and it brings back memories. Tennis because it is a great sport and I played with my sister all the time when she still lived with us.
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?
A: Rafael Nadal because he is great athlete and can pretty much hit any ball.
Q: How do you feel about drug/alcohol testing at the high school level? Should it be random or should everybody on a team be tested at least once during the season?
A: I think it's a great idea. I do believe everybody should be tested once.
Q: If you saw a teammate using drugs or alcohol, what would you do? Would you talk to him/her about it or turn him/her into the coach?
A: I would probably do both.
Q: What sport have you always wanted to try and never have, and why not?
A: I always loved volleyball and I never tried it because it's the same season as tennis.
Q: Do you have any hobbies, and if so what are they?
A: Hiking. Sadly, it only works during the spring and summer.
Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?
A: Surprise Homecoming because it never has a sad ending, only happy endings.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Mexican food.
Q: What is the last non-academic you read?
A: "Secret Daughter."
Q: Who is your favorite musician or group?
A: I really like the Black Eyed Peas because all their songs are happy and uplifting.
Q: What has been your most thrilling moment in sports?
A: I would have to say making regionals last year in tennis. It was a great way to end the season.
Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what are you looking at in terms of a major?
A: I plan to get all the credits I can at WNC first to simply save money. Then I plan to transfer to UNR and become a pediatric nurse.
