The Brewery Arts Center's Artisans Store is hosting a special exhibit today in honor of Nevada Day and its meaning.
"Home Means Nevada" opens right after Saturday's Nevada Day parade in downtown Carson City. The exhibit will feature the works of local artists and their interpretations of the Silver State. Displays will include pottery, paintings and drawings and jewelry. All of the work is for sale and suitable for holiday gifts.
To celebrate the opening, the BAC is hosting a public reception from noon to 6 p.m. today. Sip wine and enjoy appetizers while browsing the store. The Artisans Store is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The exhibit runs through November.
