Farmers market collecting cans to fight hunger

September is "Can Hunger Month" and the 3rd & Curry St. Farmers Market along with FISH and Ron Woods Family Resource Center is asking for all our market customers to bring a can of pinto beans, chili con-carne or a bag of rice to be donated to the FISH pantry. Other canned goods would go to Ron Woods.

If you don't bring a can but want to donate, the market will accept donations too. In order to be eligible for our market basket give-away for the next two weeks you must donate. The 3rd & Curry street market will be running this promotion till the last market on Sept. 17.

Only two weeks left to take advantage of all the wonderful fruit and vegetables the market has to offer. And don't forget to bring those knives that need sharpening.
